Archives at your Fingertips
Accessing the Maritzburg College Archives
Do you have some sort of connection to Maritzburg College? Would you like to know more about the school’s rich history? Are you interested in reading about the M. College highs, lows and everything in between? Well then, we have good news for you. All this information is now available at your fingertips… LITERALLY!
The Maritzburg College Museum is a vital and treasured source of information on the school, past and present. Boasting a large variety of memorabilia and access to stories of days gone by, it is a much-loved part of the College Culture and keeping our spirit and traditions alive. In these difficult times when a physical visit to the museum might be out of the question, old boys will be happy to learn that there is an alternative option.
With the digital age upon us, College has kept up with the times while still remembering our roots; and you can too. Old Collegians and other friends of the school looking for information are more often than not, surprised to learn that there is an online College Digital Archive available to them.
At present, available in the archive are:
- Copies of every College Magazine from the earliest to the most recent days
- The College Admission Register (containing names of all boys enrolled at Maritzburg College over the years)
*Please note that the Admission Register does not yet include years 2006 to 2018
Access to this vast wealth of information is both free and simple:
