Character Education & Champion Men
Yesterday we were fortunate to have Craig Wilkinson who addressed us on the topic: The 6 Pack of Masculine Virtues OF CHAMPION MEN.
To recap they are the following:
- Use your strength for good
- Nurture/tend to your fields
- Define yourself by character
- Build a band of brothers [authentic manhood]
- Mentors the next generation [role modelling]
- Make the world a better place
At our special Dads and Lads event in the evening, we had close to 550 fathers and sons attend a session with Craig where he focussed on FOUR GIFTS that fathers could give their sons
- See them for who they are
- Validate them that they are enough
- Create a sanctuary [safe place ]
- Equip them for life
There is more on Craig’s work here
