Assembly 21 February 2022

Theme: FINDING STRENGTH

Thought for the Week:

Build your strength
Defeat your weakness
Create your opportunity
Destroy your threats
~ Rubini Arunagiri

From Scripture:

“God, You are my shepherd, I lack nothing.
You make me lie down in green pastures,
You lead me beside still waters,
You restore my soul.
You lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me!
Psalm 23

A Prayer:

“Heavenly father we humbly request that you will continue to guide us and support us on our pathway to manhood. In your name we pray.

Amen.”

Last week we focussed on the theme of RESPECT and TOLERANCE for one another

Today we focus on FINDING OUR STRENGTHS  and why we should do so. It is quite simple, as we and your parents want the best for you i.e. for you to reach your optimal potential in all that you do.
On Wednesday your mentors and tutors will assist you when you do a version of the Clifton/Gallup Strength Finder to do exactly that

Two VIDEOs were shared with the boys and staff

Video 1

Video 2

By utilising one’s strengths , and being aware of your weaknesses,  this should enable you to reach the goals that you have set for your self with the support of your mentors , tutors and parents
