Goldstones Club End of Winter Sports Season

On the eve of the last of our winter fixtures for 2022, the Goldstones Club invited parents and the wider College community to a social function at the Kent Pavilion.

As the official supporters’ club of College, the Goldstones Club aims to promote, foster and maintain camaraderie and close relations between all role players of College, while promoting and providing a strong network platform.

Along with plenty of chatter, laughter, and good food and drink, highlights of the evening included lucky draws for various prizes thanks to our generous donors.  Well done to Thembakazi Ngcemu who won a Karkloof Canopy tour voucher, and Guy Greyling, Cassidy Griffiths and Alison Thomson who all won meat vouchers donated by Lance Luffingham.

The evening was also the occasion for the termly lucky draw for the 99 Club. Our 99 Campaign is an initiative where members of the College community make small regular monthly donations to the school which are put towards  projects, to enhance  and add immediate value to the boys and the school. Congratulations to the recipients of the prizes from the 2nd term draw; 1st place (R3000)   Phumlani Nzama, 2nd place (R1000) Linda Ngcongo, and 3rd place (R500) winner, Themba Nzuza
