2022 DUX – MESSAGE TO THE SCHOOL
Last night the 6th form were addressed by Thaufiq Abramia, DUX of 2022 and I want to share his key message of the acronym STABILITY adapted with you:
6th form of 2023, I want for each of you to remember only one word tonight. Stability, all you need to succeed and get through this journey is Stability.
S
Support – support one another
T
Teach and be teachable – Asking for help doesn’t make you weak or any less intelligent. Even the smartest people have to ask for help them. True potential can only be reached by making the best use of your resources.
A
Attitude- If you want to change your life, it starts with changing the way you think.
B
Balance – there is no success without balance in your life.
I
Identity – Remember who you are and why you are doing this. As a young adult you are still finding yourself,
L
Liable – What you do determines your future, make good choices, and stick to them. Accept the consequences of the bad ones and learn from them.
I
Initiative – Take charge of your life.
T
Today– There is no better time than the present to start something.
And finally Y
You – You know yourself best. So do what works for you.
One of your major aims for 2023 should be the Be Better than Before i.e. BTB – strive to be the best that you can be in all that you do. And for the 6th Form – what will your legacy be ?
HOUSE COMPETITION RESULTS from BORVER WEEK will be announced at next week’s assembly
I wish you all a very successful and enjoyable 2023.
Pro Aris et Focis
