Sporting results: Inland Hockey and Provincial Rugby selections for 2023

Maritzburg College is especially proud of the outstanding results for College following the Craven week rugby and Inland hockey provincial selections.

 

RUGBY
Six of our talented rugby players have been selected for the Craven Week team, with Mr Tim Orchard appointed as Assistant Coach. Five College rugby players were selected for the Sharks U17 Academy side, with Mr Kelvin Elder appointed as Assistant Coach.

Maritzburg College also had a further seven boys selected for the Sharks U16 teams, and 10 boys for the Sharks U15 teams – a total of 28 boys selected.

HOCKEY
Congratulations to the five talented 1st XI Maritzburg College hockey players selected for the Inland U18A team

A further eight players have been selected for the Inland U18B side:

College dominated the U16 selections with an outstanding NINE boys selected for the Inland U16A team, and EIGHT for the Inland U16B!
