Assembly – 22 July

ASSEMBLY 22 July: EMBRACING NEW CHALLENGES

From Scripture
“For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”2 Timothy 1:7

A Prayer
Dear Lord
We come to you today, acknowledging that life is full of challenges and uncertainties. We also know that you are always with us, guiding and strengthening us.
Help us to embrace the challenges that come our way, knowing that they are opportunities for growth and learning. Give us the courage to face our fears and the wisdom to navigate uncertain paths.
In your name we pray, Amen

As part of the exchange, College’s jazz ensemble, jazz band and choir joined with their counterparts from PBHS for a wonderful evening of music and singing, thoroughly enjoyed by an appreciative audience. Our sincere  appreciation and thanks goes to the music department and Messrs Solomon, Heyns, and Linde and the boys.

SOCCER
Well done to the 1st XI on a great season so far – they are currently ranked 2nd in SA

CYCLING
College hosted a very successful KZN Schools Mountain Biking event over the weekend with 479 riders.  Sincere thanks to Mrs Bartholomew and the team for their efforts and well done to the boys who excelled.

I wish to compliment every single one of you on your commitment and effort in all the various activities.  Overall it was a truly outstanding exchange in every respect. A sincere thank you to all the staff and boys who participated, and to Mr Kyle and his staff especially for the overall coordination and logistics.

We now prepare for our other old foes from Gauteng, as we head up to KES to do battle this next weekend.
