New Staff 2022

Welcome to all the new staff members who joined our College this year.

 Ms Toni Harding joins us from Hershel Girls in Cape Town where she was a senior teacher of English and AP English and has significant experience in this area . She previously has taught at Wykham Collegiate as well. She will be a mentor in Commons House  and will be involved in Debating.

 Mr Nico Robberts former Assistant HM of Nicholson House and very experienced teacher of EGDS and Technology , returns to College as a locum for the year. We are very pleased to have Mr Robberts back and he will be a mentor in Forder House.

Mrs Waasia Khan English Educator has a wealth of experience in her subject area as a former Department Head of Languages at Ester Payne Smith school. She will  be a mentor in  Commons House and involved in debating.

Mr Alan McGuigan [OC 2007] joins us from Howick where he was Director of Sport  and will teach Phys Ed & LO. He is a very successful squash player and coach and will run our HP squash programme and is mentor in Commons House and a duty master in Nathan House.

Mr Kelvin Elder [OC 2013] joins us from St Charles as teacher of Afrikaans and will be involved in the HPC  and coaching rugby. He is a mentor in Fuller House and duty master in Nathan House.

Ms Naomi Nel an Afrikaans Educator and accomplished provincial athlete and coach joins us from Lydenburg High School . She  will be involved in coaching athletic and hockey and will be  a mentor in Pape House.

Ms Shenise Paramand  joins us from Estcourt High School  as an experienced English Educator who will be a mentor in  Fuller  House and will also be involved in school magazine and debating

Ms  Julia McGrath is an experienced Mathematics Educator who joins us from our an international school in China and has previously taught at Grantleigh College. She will be a mentor in Fuller House and involved in additional Mathematics and squash.

Mr Josh  Harvey joins us from an international school in China and previous experience at Grantleigh College & Northwood. He will be a mentor in Fuller House and involved in the coaching of cricket and rugby and will teach LO and Phys Ed.

Mr Simon Brill is an experienced English educator having taught previously in Vietnam and GHS & Queens College Queenstown. He will be a mentor in Snow   House coach squash and hockey and will be a duty master in Hudson House.

Mr Joash Naidoo [OC 2012] returns to his alma mater as an intern through Epoch Optima and will be teaching Mathematics and IT.

Mr Aaqil  Ebrahim joins us from Hilton College and will be teaching LO and Phys Ed as well as coaching u15A cricket and rugby and is a mentor in Forder House

 Ms Umme-Haami Arbee is a registered nurse who joins the staff in the sanatorium.

Please join me in given all the new staff and boys a special welcome to the  College family. We wish you a long and enjoyable College experience.
