Mrs Parker has worked alongside Bab’ Mdlankomo in the admin department, especially in admissions, for more than 25 years. She tells us that “he has a sharp eye and picks up even the smallest of admin errors that others have missed. He has a wonderful sense of humour, and is a devout family man and adoring grandfather. He is a hugely valued member of our admissions team – and has been a warm and generous colleague for all these decades.” We pay tribute to a dedicated, humble and kind human, who has worked quietly and without fuss amongst for so long, in the service of our school. Mrs Cindy Sewmungal
Mrs Sewmungal have given 40 years of service to College as our Laboratory Assistant. She is a most gracious and giving person, and a calm island in a sea of turmoil. Nothing is too much for her and she willingly goes the extra mile. A true friend and trustworthy confidante, Cindy lives her faith, and she is an example to many, never saying an unkind word about anyone. Underneath that cool and calm surface however, is a very strong woman of integrity, who has overcome many obstacles in her path. A devoted mother, Cindy’s love and care for her own family, as well as her extended family is noteworthy. A much loved and valued member of the Life Sciences and Natural Sciences department, we are truly privileged to have had her devote her working life to our school. Mrs Sewmungal, thank you for your 40 years’ service to Maritzburg College.
