Maritzburg College in association with The English Academy of Southern Africa, cordially invites you to attend the 6th annual MCEASA Conference for English Language teachers.
The theme focusses on the role of ELT in promoting literacy in the English classroom. We recognise that the teacher is the main resource for education in our country. An investment in the teacher’s professional development will be an investment in our youth, at large. But, most significantly, teachers who teach language purposefully, and with pride in their pedagogical practise; understand that developing critical thinking skills in learners, unleash purposeful citizens who contribute positively to our communities and our country. We believe that it is possible for all classrooms to become vehicles for innovation, growth and critical thinking.
