Maritzburg College is once again extremely proud to host the 65th Oppenheimer Michaelmas Cricket Week.
Held on our beautiful 25-hectare campus, along with a number of other cricket venues, this is the oldest ‘private’ festival cricket week, and this year it will be the largest in its history, with 28 schools participating.
The event has been held annually since 1959 (except in 1970 and 2020), and the 2025 Week will be the 65th edition.
It’s value and significance is measured by the many past schoolboys who have gone to play on the bigger stage, be it at provincial, franchise or international level.
But the four days are not only about cricket, but also about renewing friendships.
