The school fees for 2026, excluding the acceptance deposit, are made up as follows:
Tuition
A monthly option is available over 10 months, January to October or November, if so selected.
Boarding
A monthly option is available with interest (current interest for 2025 is 5% per annum).
* Due to investment in HR and IT, and significant Capex expansion in the Boarding Establishment, there is a differential fee for the Form 2 (Grade 8) intake.

Discount options are being offered to all parents for 2026 Tuition and Boarding Establishment fees, provided that all the current (2025) Tuition, Sundries and Boarding Fees are paid up in full by the time you take advantage of the discounted rates.
Parents whose payments are reflected in the School’s bank account in full as per the dates below will be entitled to the discounts as follows:

We have planned 2 interprovincial exchanges and a Form 2 to 5 camp for 2026. Based on the current year, we estimate that the incidental expenses will total in the region of R7,500 per learner, however, this DOES NOT include other academic, cultural or sports tours. The Karri App will be used extensively for payment of textbooks, camps, trips, tours and events at Maritzburg College, we urge you to download Karri.
BOARDING LEVY:
A Boarding Development Levy for Form 3 & 4 of R1 250 and for Form 5 & 6 of R750, in order to enhance and improve the facilities offered in the Boarding Establishment. This levy in not included in the budget and will be charged separately to all boarders.
