Maritzburg College is proud to host the 30th Annual KZN Inter-district Rugby Tournament on our campus from 22-24 May 2025.
We welcome all the teams and their supporters to our campus, and we sincerely hope that everyone who participates or spectates will enjoy all that is great in schoolboy sport; the camaraderie, team-spirit, passion, commitment and sportsmanship.
This inter-district festival aims to serve as a showcase for primary schools rugby in KZN, as well as trials to select representative teams in these age groups.
The 3-day event has been held on an annual basis for the last 24 years.
Boys participate in the following divisions:
U13A
U13B
U12
At the conclusion of the tournament, four teams are selected to represent KZN; U13A Craven Week Interprovincial, U13B Interprovincial team and two U12 interprovincial teams.
A total of approx. 90 officials represent the six districts as coaches, managers, referees, selectors and organising committee members.
