The Oppenheimer Michaelmas Cricket Week is South Africa’s oldest and arguably most prestigious school cricket festival.Hosted on Maritzburg College’s 25-hectare campus, the week has a proud history of producing schoolboy cricketers who have gone on to play at provincial, franchise and international level.
The four days are not only about cricket, but also about renewing friendships. There is genuine camaraderie among the boys and coaches, and it is wonderful to see them share in one another’s cricketing journeys.
